Building Collapse

On March 5th, 2015 the roof of The Putnam Building in Philadelphia Pennsylvania collapsed luckily injuring none (media coverage here), but causing unknown damage to the top floors of the building where Thelesis Oasis is situated. Thelesis Oasis has been a long time fixture of this historic Philadelphia Building and are hopeful that the building will be restored and improved in years to come.

At the present all brothers and sisters, members and visitors are unsure about the timetable of a possible review that would allow us at least access our space, assess damage and attempt to rescue  important items.  We are equally unsure as to when we may be able to resume normal operations, hosting events, lectures, and Masses.

The leadership at Thelesis is working hard to come up with short term options during this period, as well as doing some decision making about the various possible future scenarios.  If we are to be out of our space for weeks to come, and can retreive, rebuild, or get new Mass gear and materials, we will need to find alternative locations to hold Masses.

If you are able and willing to help us fund our short term plans, as well as proactively plan for the various possibilities coming up in our immediate future, we humbly and gratefully welcome any donations that you would offer below.

Thank you for your concern and support!
